The Café

‘Talk and tea is his specialty, said Giles. Come along inside...
We'll see if tea and buns can make the world a better place.’

The Wind in the Willows

Offering a fine selection of the best teas and coffees from around the world, served with mouth-wateringly delicious cakes.

Fresh and seasonal light lunches are served from Wednesday to Sunday, and cater for every palate.

Our lunchtime menu changes regularly and with the seasons. Here’s a taster of what you can expect…

Soup

Red lentil and tomato with a crème cheese and basil garnish, served with seven-seeded crusty bread. An intensely flavoured and richly coloured soup.

Main

Homemade caramelised onion quiche with two salads; a salad of roasted baby beetroot, walnuts with yogurt dressing and a seasonal green salad with home-grown apples.

Cakes

Courgette with a lime curd and pistachio - an unusual, but delicious cake from Nigella.

Chocolate and ginger - a gorgeous mix of chocolate with a hint of fresh ginger makes this a very popular cake in the tearoom.

Our gluten-free chocolate and almond cake has been a real hit with customers.

Teas

From our delicious house green tea (the best we have ever tasted, no bitterness at all) to our revitalizing feng-shui, our comprehensive list of choices from all over world ensures there’s something for every palette.

Coffee

In partnership with the great guys at Roasted in Brighton we serve the highest quality of coffee in every combination.
