Dr Thomas Martin Wells is a young phd chemist, who has started a small batch eco distillery in Shoreham. His belief in merging nature and science to push the frontiers of distillation is as fascinating as his products are delicious. His skill and knowledge about local foraged ingredients is also a useful masterclass for those interested in using more natural ingredients in their own cookery repertoire.
6.30 pm Arrive for welcome drink of Slake gin and seasonal nibble.
7pm Supper in the café, two course seasonal menu.
7.45 Talk from Tom about Slake, how, why, how batches are made.
8.15 – 8.30 Open tasting and question time, opportunity for guests to buy a bottle to take home, or an opportunity to place an order for Christmas.
